Log in with Google" button not responding and Cascade stuck on "Authentication Required

When I try to sign in:

  1. The “Log in with Google” button is visible but completely unresponsive (it doesn’t open the browser).

  2. The side panel is stuck on “Authentication Required”.

Getting the same thing since the latest update. I’m on Ubuntu and for now I have to a reset onboarding to get it fixed but every restart gives me the same Authentication Required.
