Knowledge: how to make it works?

The feature has never worked for me. All attempts to direct their generation leads to document creation instead. I’ve been using Antigravity since launch with the same issue. The issue has survived fresh installs, updates, an OS refresh and migration to a second host. Windows 11 and 11 pro, both with wsl2 to be clear.

Hello. Just today, the Knowledge Item is finally working.

I’ve been asking the agent to create a Knowledge Item for months now, but none of them worked. A few minutes ago, frustrated with the agent’s erratic work, I tried again and was pleasantly surprised.

My version:

Step 1: The “Unlock” (Linux ACL Fix)
Even if you own the folders, restricted ACL masks can “blind” background processes. Run these commands to grant full access and clear the cache:

3 setfacl -m m::rwx ~/.gemini/antigravity/knowledge

5 # Clear cache to reset the indexer engine

Step 2: Prevent Crashes (.antigravityignore)
The indexer often crashes (Segfault) when trying to read massive dependency folders. Create a file named .antigravityignore in your project root and add
these lines:
