# Issues Running Sanity Check

Hi

I have recently started open-source contributions and am facing issues when performing sanity check using the instructions mentioned in TensorFlow CONTRIBUTING.md guidelines. I have performed Python Coding Style check using _pylint_. However, when I run the commands for sanity check, it only opens the **ci\_build.sh** file in my VS code without giving any results on status of the check.

I have docker installed and run the following commands in Windows Powershell from TensorFlow root directory:

**docker pull tensorflow/tensorflow:latest**

**tensorflow/tools/ci\_build/ci\_build.sh CPU tensorflow/tools/ci\_build/ci\_sanity.sh --test\_arg=–test\_targets=/mnt/c/Users/Mahrukh/test\_code.py**

Hi @Mahrukh, Apologies for the delayed response.  
Try to run run the command using **WSL or Git Bash**.

```auto
bash tensorflow/tools/ci_build/ci_build.sh CPU tensorflow/tools/ci_build/ci_sanity.sh --test_arg=–test_targets=/....

```
