Hello, I recently generated a new Gemini API key from Google AI Studio, which starts with “AQ”. However, I am constantly getting a quota/limit exceeded error. I am strictly using the Free Tier and only calling the “gemini-1.5-flash” (or 2.5-flash) model, not the Pro model. I haven’t used up any daily/minute limits. It seems my account might be affected by the ‘zero quota’ issue related to the new AQ keys. Could you please check my account and help resolve this so I can use the free tier? Thank you.
Are you also getting error OR_CCR_104?
I’m also limited. After some research, I learned that the limit is 20 calls per day, unless you can prove with a credit card that you’re not a robot. Keep in mind that you must use a postpaid card; otherwise, it won’t accept it (I just filed a complaint here).
Update: I’ve managed to get a little better with Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite

We are moving away from Traffic keys (Alza) and towards a more secure Authentication Key (AQ). AI Studio will now only generate Authentication Key (AQ) keys. More information on key usage can be found in the Using Gemini API keys documentation].
