Issue with Gemini API Plan Upgrade - Account Stuck on "Pending Configuration"

Hi everyone,

I’ve been facing an issue for over a week while trying to upgrade from the free plan to a paid tier on the Gemini API. Every time I attempt the upgrade, I receive a “Pending configuration” message stating that my Google Cloud billing account is being processed and that this can take anywhere from a few minutes to several weeks.

I have a valid credit card registered to my account, but I’m unsure why the processing is taking so long. This has become critical because my automations that rely on the Gemini API have stopped working, significantly impacting my operations.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any way to expedite this process or anything I can do to resolve it?
