Improving Conversation Management in Gemini/AI Studio/bulk actions/Dedicated Desktop Version

Hello,

OUTPUT AND CONVERSATION MANAGEMENT

I’d like to share some feedback regarding conversation management across the Gemini, AI Studio, and Notebook interfaces. Currently, the way conversations are saved and exported feels limited. I propose that Google allow conversations to be output and managed directly in a Google Docs format. This would offer significant user benefits, including direct saving to the cloud/PC, the ability to apply polished templates, and much better differentiation using titles, subtitles, and headings. Furthermore, the conversation interfaces themselves should integrate core Google Docs tools like table creation, table formatting, and advanced styling options. Adopting the Docs structure would transform these conversations from simple text outputs into structured, professional, and reusable documents.

FOLDERS

Building upon my previous suggestion, I believe significant improvements can be made to asset management (conversations and generated images) within the Gemini ecosystem. I strongly recommend implementing a folder system that allows users to organize conversations and images efficiently, similar to Google Drive. Crucially, we need bulk actions for image downloading, enabling users to select and download multiple generated images simultaneously. Finally, introducing granular control over image output is essential: users should have options to specify the size/resolution (e.g., small, medium, large, or custom dimensions) and select the file format (e.g., PNG, JPEG) before generation or download. These features would drastically improve workflow, particularly for developers and creators who generate large volumes of assets.

DEDICATED DESKTOP VERSION

To truly address the needs for professional document management and asset control, I propose the development of a dedicated desktop application for Gemini/AI Studio/Notebook and Gmail. This desktop version would be optimized to facilitate local storage and file management of all user assets—conversations, code, and generated images. A dedicated app would bypass typical browser limitations, offering a streamlined method for saving output directly to the user’s computer, integrating seamlessly with local folder structures, and offering robust offline access to previously saved work. This would significantly improve efficiency for users prioritizing local archiving and high-volume asset control.

Thanks for your consideration.

Add the option to save in local mode or to Drive. It should generate as many files as necessary to save each part of the AI Studio conversation in an organized manner

The UI’s visual elements need improvement to enhance organization.
