SCOPE: This issue applies to ALL GDP Premier plan paid memberships for any Company with Google Workspace Enterprise Plus subscription (probably for other workspace level too)
1. Issue Description: Inconsistent Tier Recognition for GDP Premier Members
VelociKey LLC is a Google Workspace Enterprise Plus subscriber. Furthermore, the individual developers within VelociKey have each paid for and maintain Google Development Partner (GDP) Premier Tier status.
We have observed a critical discrepancy: while the majority of the Google ecosystem—including Google Cloud Billing, Gemini-CLI, gemini.google.com, and the Google Cloud Console—correctly identifies our members’ individual “AI Pro” status, the Antigravity IDE remains the sole outlier.
Currently, the Antigravity environment appears to initialize our members’ accounts at the “Free” tier. This is NOT a “bug AP-859” issue, because Antigravity does recognize an individual company member accounts’ eligibility for Premier-tier features.
2. Chronology of Support & Coordination Challenges
Since January 14, 2026, we have engaged multiple internal teams to resolve this discrepancy for our team members:
-
Ecosystem Verification: Individual “AI Pro” status is verified and active across all other professional Google developer tools used by our staff.
-
The Identification Gap: Because the initial handshake within Antigravity defaults to “Free,” the specific paths intended for “AI Pro” users—including the automated sync fixes—remain inaccessible to our individual developers.
-
Support Overlap: The GDP Team has confirmed the Premier status of our individual members; however, they state that they have no ability correct the non-delivery of features (AI Pro) I purchased from them.
3. Operational Impact
-
Feature Availability: Our developers are currently unable to utilize the individual “AI Pro” capabilities they have paid for (such as expanded context windows and advanced agentic routing) within the Antigravity environment, despite the organization’s Enterprise Plus status and their individual Premier memberships.
-
Engineering Overhead: This discrepancy has required significant time from our leadership team to coordinate across four different support silos (GDP, Cloud, Workspace, and Antigravity) to address what appears to be a metadata synchronization error.
-
Service Delivery: This represents a notable gap in the expected service experience for individual Premier Tier members working within an Enterprise Plus organization.
4. Requested Resolution
We request that the Antigravity Engineering team consult with the Gemini-CLI and gemini.google.com teams to identify how they successfully recognize the individual “AI Pro” status of our members, with the goal of implementing a permanent, unified fix. – for all similarly situated Google Developer Program Premier Tier accounts.
In the meantime, we ask for a proactive remediation to enable the paid-for “AI Pro” status for our individual members within the Antigravity environment, allowing our team to resume high-context development work while the underlying sync issue is resolved.
