The previous version was a blatant rip-off of Windsurf, and version 2.0 is just trying to copy Codex!

Unistall it, download and install Antigravity IDE from download page.
Then copy paste files from Antigravity folder in your userdata directory.

yep, it happened to me too. I cant even load a conversation for a project i was working on for months. IDE version doesnt even recognizes the old conversation i had. Absolute nightmare for us

Here are the steps I used to get the editor back, as well as my conversation history for a Windows OS:

  1. Make a copy of the %APPDATA%\Antigravity folder. I just made a copy on my desktop.
  2. Go to the Google Antigravity Download page, scroll to the bottom and download the Antigravity IDE
  3. Uninstall Antigravity
  4. Install Antigravity IDE
  5. After installation, sign back into Google and finish the setup.
  6. Prompt Gemini with the following:
After the recent update, I reinstalled the Antigravity IDE and all my past conversations are missing. Please help me migrate my old database and state files from `%APPDATA%\Antigravity\User` to the new `%APPDATA%\Antigravity IDE\User` directory by creating a script and command for me to run that will achieve this goal.
  1. Review and approving the PowerShell commands being run.
  2. After it has been completed, copy the PowerShell command provided by Gemini
  3. Close out Antigravity IDE and open a PowerShell Terminal. Paste the command into the PowerShell Terminal, and run it.
  4. After it finishes, reopen Antigravity IDE and you should now have access to your convo history.

I migrated all chats to ide in files, it still didnt loaded any of my old convos. We all have tried this, nothing worked.
