Just a topic that I have face with Google Ai studio and Github connection, once I was trying to develop my app and wanted to push my changes back to github. I have face with error failed to create GitHub repository. Please try agian.
I checked that there is no starightforward way to that in Google Ai Studio side, howver I have found the workaround and created a video about that.
The simple approach is that you need to disable your connection on github side and the revoke it. In my case I have tested multiple times and it worked perfect. Even Incognito mode was not needed at this stage.
Hopefully this method will work in your case as well.
