How to prevent Anti-Gravity from accessing your data

I’ve asked the Anti-Gravity Centre to delete my training data, but I still haven’t received a reply. Their policy states that they do not guarantee my data will be used for training, but rather that only a portion of it may be used. Does this mean my data isn’t actually being used for training? And why haven’t they responded to my request to have my data deleted?

Hello @MinAn, you can do this by disabling the telemetry option by following these steps:

  • Open Antigravity IDE.
  • Click on Settings and select Antigravity IDE settings to open a new window.
  • Select Account, where you will find the Enable telemetry option to turn it off.

I can’t offer legal advice — but I don’t think this configuration qualifies as true ZDR.

Here’s what I understand the situation to be:

  • Training: Turning off telemetry means your data isn’t used for model training. That part is clear.
  • Storage: Your data is still stored on Google’s servers. They may delete it within 2–3 days, but their policy allows retention of up to 30 days.
  • Legal disclosure: Even with training disabled, Google can still be compelled to hand over your data under legal obligation. For example, if a government agency issues a specific request, they can produce what’s on file.

So “not used for training” is not the same as zero retention.

Thanks for the reply. I was planning to decrypt some local files, but I needed to double-check because I was worried it might be risky if they were used for training.

This has pretty much resolved what I’ve been worrying about for the past few days.
