I had an AI Ultra account until 7th of July and wanted to switch to a pay per request model today. So far I could not figure out how to do that. I found this site here: Google Antigravity and followed its description and created the necessary API key and project. But so far I could not figure out how I tell Antigravity 2.0 or Antigravity IDE how to use the newly generated API key.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi @Roman_Kaufmann,
Based on the official documentation, the Antigravity IDE is currently not supported for the pay-per-request (Enterprise) model. This integration is only available for Antigravity 2.0 and the Antigravity CLI.
If you are using Antigravity 2.0 or the CLI, please try the following steps to get set up:
- If you are currently logged in with your old AI Ultra session, you must first log out of the Antigravity CLI or Antigravity Hub.
- Once logged out, log back in. During the login flow, select your Google Cloud project and location, making sure to choose the newly created project where you set up your billing.
- Make sure you have the appropriate API enabled (e.g.,
aiplatform.googleapis.com) and the correct IAM roles granted (e.g.,roles/aiplatform.user) via your GCP console.
I noticed the same regression and I feel the communication around it all has NOT been very good. I posted the issues I noticed here below, but no response yet…
Ok. Logging out in Antigravity did the trick, but the very important part is to not sign in with my Google account but to click on the underlined text below the button.
Very well hidden.
Last but not least I hope this button will be added to Antigravity IDE as well. Antigravity 2.0 developer experience is very underwhelming so far.
Agree. The frequent changes and non existing or confusing documentation - especially for enterprise users and functions - is quite frustrating.
