I have been a fairly consistent user of Google and its products for many years. I stayed when we were having all sorts of quota and API issues. I stayed when Google was charging me money for every “quota exceeded” errors with no sign of the service working. I stayed when Google maintained complete lack of communication and left us confused for weeks.
Today my AIS decided it would be a good idea to completely delete the entire codebase that we have been working on for months, and replace it with a blank page with a chatbot. I think that this is a good enough sign for me to switch.
Yes, you can go back to previous versions. However for some reason, my AIS actively WANTS TO go back to the “wiped version“. Since the rollback, every time I input a prompt, the output code eithet is ridden with errors or gets wiped out again.
So I have no choice but take my last stable version and migrate to a competetor‘s service.
This isn‘t a “please fix this”. This is a goodbye.
