Google’s consumer support does not actually exist — the entire system is an empty, non‑functional ticket factory

The ‘Recent cases’ section on Google’s support interface is misleading, because any ongoing case disappears from the Google Help homepage after a few hours or days. If I create an email chain, the dashboard shows the same case number for a short time, with the label updated X time ago, and then the entire entry disappears. This proves that Google has no case handling at all: there is no history, no update, no investigation, no process. Customer support would only exist if case handling existed — but here it clearly does not, therefore this is demonstrably not customer support.

The system does not retain case numbers, every reply generates a new ID, the new ID also disappears, and Google does not provide any meaningful response, only automatic template messages. Since there is no case handling, no history, no update, and no actual case processing, the system is essentially a non‑functional ticket factory that performs no complaint handling whatsoever.

Google’s AI Overview repeatedly displays false, automatically generated statements. The Overview claims that We will send you updates by email, that You can track your case on the Help homepage, that Your Case ID allows you to follow the issue, and that We are working on your case. These statements are demonstrably false: no updates are sent, cases cannot be tracked, the Case ID disappears, and the Help homepage remains empty. AI Overview presents misleading information because there is no case, no update, no investigation, no case handling — meaning there is no customer support. The system tries to present nothing as an update.

Hungarian consumer protection law, the Civil Code, and the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) require the service provider to give meaningful responses, ensure traceable complaint handling, provide transparent case processing, and maintain a functioning communication channel. Google violates these obligations by having no customer support, no case handling, no updates, deleting submitted reports, and displaying misleading AI‑generated messages. Google’s complaint‑handling practice is clearly unlawful.

Yesterday I posted about this topic and I also sent an email to the Google DPO about the post: https://discuss.ai.google.dev/t/final-ultimatum-i-discovered-the-free-google-ai-studio-backend-fraud/175002 , and today the case ID I received from Google yesterday has already disappeared from the dashboard. This proves that this is not customer support, it’s just a fake. The ticket disappeared because Google’s system only generates a fake, placeholder ticket without any real case handling — and it automatically deletes it because there is nothing behind it.

According to the official EU rules (Digital Services Act): https://digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en/policies/digital-services-act and according to the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU): https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX%3A32011L0083 the service provider is required to maintain a functioning complaint‑handling system, respond to users, keep proper records, and must not delete or hide the submitted complaint. Google does not comply with these obligations.

Proof of the “Phantom Customer Support” (The images from July 16 and 17)

On the July 16 screenshot (taken at 09:36), the “Legal Investigations Support” entry and the case ID are clearly visible in my Google Support account.
On the July 17 screenshot (taken at 04:29), the same page in my account is completely empty. The ticket has disappeared.
With this, I have proven in black and white what I am writing in this post: Google’s customer support system is an automated “ticket factory” that only maintains the appearance of support. They are not slow — the system literally deletes or hides active complaints from the user, preventing any form of tracking.

The repeated AI trap: I searched on Google for what the status “We are working on your customer support case” means.
Google AI Overview (which German authorities and courts consider Google’s official position) states: “You can track ongoing cases through the Google Help homepage… go to the Recent Cases menu.”
This means Google’s own AI declares the official procedure, while I prove with screenshots in this post that this function does not exist in reality, because the system removes the tickets. This is a legal category of deception.

Since the statutory definition of customer service requires mandatory elements such as substantive, individual examination, a system in which there is currently no human contact and never has been, does not qualify as customer service at all. It is a fake façade. Google is currently violating the law and lying when it uses this name on the Google Help homepage. Google cannot defend itself by saying it has an automated interface, because due to the complete lack of human contact, that interface is legally non‑existent and illegal at this very moment.

The reality is: the burden of proof is NOT on me. I state that there has never been any human response or human investigation. This is a factual claim that I can support with thousands of emails, USPS return receipts, screenshots, among other evidence. Google must prove the opposite — that there WAS a human response. No human has ever written back. Google must prove that they did. This is what they cannot explain away; this is the legal reality, the burden of proof is on them. Google will NEVER be able to prove this. I will take legal action against them.

The Final Proof: DPO Silence and the Fake Support System Confirm the JSON Data Fraud

As I have demonstrated in my previous posts, Google’s consumer support is an empty, non-functional ticket factory where case IDs simply disappear from the dashboard. But the implications of this go much deeper.

I formally notified Google’s Data Protection Officer (DPO) regarding the JSON/backend data retention fraud, which I have also uploaded to multiple posts on the Google AI Developer Forum. I have the certified delivery receipts.

Yet, the DPO remains completely silent.

Since the DPO explicitly refuses to respond, and the support interface actively deletes the complaint tickets without any human investigation, it is now undeniably proven that Google is willfully ignoring the JSON data retention issue as well. They know exactly what they are doing. They know that pressing “Delete” in AI Studio only removes the local JSON pointer, while the backend illegally continues to store the private data of millions of users.

Their silence is not a delay — it is a documented evasion tactic and a legally binding admission. They are not investigating the backend data retention because there is no real support system and no functioning compliance process. It is just a fake façade to cover up a systemic data privacy violation.

I have proven the technical fraud. I have proven the administrative cover-up. The burden of proof is now entirely on Google to show they ever took human action to resolve this GDPR report — which they cannot. I am taking the full evidence package directly to court.
