You completely missed the entire point of my post.

This is NOT about how Google Drive’s trash bin works.
I don’t care about the trash bin, its mechanics, or how Drive handles deleted files.

The core of my evidence is this:

I deleted the chat, emptied the Drive trash, so the JSON was “permanently deleted” according to Google.
Then I restored the JSON using the Drive recovery tool — NOT the trash — and the entire chat instantly came back, fully intact, without a single error.

This proves one thing:

the backend prompt was NEVER deleted.

And here is what you still don’t understand:

  • I emptied the trash.

  • The JSON was not in the trash anymore.

  • I restored it using a separate recovery mechanism, not the trash.

  • The JSON is NOT the prompt.

  • The JSON is only a pointer.

  • If the prompt had actually been deleted server‑side, restoring the JSON would do nothing.

  • But the chat continues from the exact same point →
    the server‑side prompt was never deleted.

This is the part people on this forum fail to understand, because they are so limited mentally that they keep talking about the trash bin instead of the backend behavior.

The JSON is NOT the prompt.
Restoring the JSON should NOT restore the chat — unless Google never deleted the prompt in the first place.

That’s the whole point.

Now I get it: when someone can’t grasp even the most basic logical connection, the easiest solution is simply to claim I’m a bot.

Seriously, it’s fascinating how you managed to completely misread everything I wrote.
For instance, you skipped the part about ‘the JSON is not equal to the prompt’ so elegantly, as if it didn’t even exist. This is right at the beginning of my post.
And emptying the trash combined with the recovery tool was probably just too much of an intellectual challenge for you.

But it’s fine, I get it:
when someone can’t follow the logic, it’s much easier to call me a bot than to admit that the topic simply exceeds your brain capacity.
