Google AI studio's code editor is very laggy

Hi everyone. Currently i’m using google ai studio to develop some of my personal project. One thing i noticed is that when you develop your app larger and larger, at some point, navigate to the code editor more would resulting the entire page to be ver laggy. Scroll take like 10 sec to happen, any button/link have an insane delay, etc. But if you don’t go to the editor tab, you’ll be fine.

Does anyone have the same experience? Is this a bug of google ai studio?

My environment:

  • windows 10
  • Chrome Version 142.0.7444.177

This seems to be a temporary issue. Please try the following steps:

  • Refresh the AI Studio page or reopen it in a new browser window.
  • Clear browser cache and cookies, then sign in again.

Let us know if the issue still persists!

Yes its likely the computer caches issue as AI studios store the data on your caches, which will cause it to lag if too much codes are being run. Just restart your computer or browser, and you will be good to go!
