Google AI Studio Starter Tier is missing when I try to publish my full-stack app

Hello Google AI Studio team,

I am having an issue when trying to publish my full-stack application created with Google AI Studio Build Mode.

When I click:

Publish → Get Started

I am taken to the “Confirm project and billing” screen.

The screen only shows:

  • Default Gemini Project
  • No billing setup
  • Set up billing
  • Refresh

The Google Cloud Starter Tier publishing option does not appear.

I have already clicked Refresh, but the Starter Tier option is still not available.

My application is already working correctly in Google AI Studio Build Mode and the production build passes successfully.

The application uses Firebase/Firestore and has server-side functionality.

I do not want to enable paid Google Cloud Billing or add a payment method just to publish this application.

Please check:

  1. Whether my Google account is eligible for the Google Cloud Starter Tier.
  2. Whether the Starter Tier deployment entitlement has been provisioned for my account.
  3. Whether there is currently an issue with Starter Tier publishing.
  4. Whether my existing Default Gemini Project is preventing Starter Tier provisioning.
  5. What exact action is required to make the Starter Tier publishing option appear.

I have attached a screenshot of the Publish → Confirm project and billing screen.

Please do not modify, delete, or recreate my existing application or its Firebase/Firestore data.

Thank you.

Hello @MANIKANT_CHOUDHARY ,

Not all accounts are eligible for The Starter Tier. Please check out the caveats mentioned in the Google AI Studio deployment documentation. Eligibility is determined automatically, and we cannot review Starter Tier access manually.

You might want to consider linking a Cloud Billing account to your project.
