Hello, let me explain in detail Google AI Studio’s MCP Capabilities.

The MCP option should appear. When clicking the ‘+’ icon in Google AI Studio, a new icon called ‘Capabilities’ should appear. This icon could feature the most popular MCP integrations, split into categories. For example, deployment capabilities like Netlify, Vercel, Cloudflare, Google GCP, Microsoft Azure, Railway (essentially all popular deployment options available), and backend capabilities like Firebase (perhaps an even deeper connection than the current one), Supabase, NeonDB, Cloud SQL, Microsoft PostgreSQL (Azure), etc.
You can also connect the AI to GitHub MCP, allowing it to install items for the repository, such as Coderabbit, CodeQL, etc., and read these reviews. It could also deploy to GitHub Pages based on the app. There are also Authentication MCPs, such as Clerk MCP, Auth0 MCP, and other authentication providers, allowing users to freely customize their app. Additionally, other parts, such as automations like N8N, Zapier, etc., could be integrated, allowing the AI to perform automated actions or create apps. Also, there should be MCP servers related to documentation, as Google AI Studio sometimes has issues with documentation, for example, regarding context7. Now, what if I have a CLI tool, for example, that needs authorization, like Snyk (if I remember correctly)? Well, the AI could install it, automatically creating a connection for us to sign up. Once signed up, we could use that tool, within its limits. In the tabs section, which includes options like ‘push to GitHub,’ there should be a ‘Capabilities Listing’ option. This listing would show which capabilities are active and which are CLIs. If a CLI is used, its active status should appear somewhere in that section.
