Hello Google AI Studio Team,
I need assistance with a persistent GitHub synchronization failure in Google AI Studio Build Mode.
Project: MarketPilot AI Production
GitHub repository: fastone-sa/MarketPilot-Ai
Branch: main
The project contains substantial production work and hundreds of changed files. AI Studio recognizes the GitHub integration, but when attempting to synchronize/export the current workspace, it fails with:
“Failed to push commit to GitHub. Please try again.”
The AI Studio runtime cannot independently complete the push through CLI because the environment is non-interactive and does not have usable GitHub credentials.
I need to preserve the existing repository, commit history, and current AI Studio workspace. I do not want to delete the repository or create a replacement repository.
Could the AI Studio team please investigate the server-side GitHub binding/authentication state and advise how to restore push capability to the existing repository?
Please let me know what diagnostic information, screenshots, App ID, repository identifiers, or logs you need. I can provide them.
Thank you.

**Subject: Follow-up: Google AI Studio GitHub Export Failure — MarketPilot AI™**

Hello Google AI Studio Support Team,

Thank you for reviewing my forum account and restoring my ability to participate.

I am following up on my previous support request regarding the persistent GitHub export and synchronization failure in Google AI Studio.

I have completed an extensive diagnostic investigation of my project, MarketPilot AI™, and identified the following:

**Project and repository details:**

- Project: MarketPilot AI™
- GitHub repository: `fastone-sa/MarketPilot-Ai`
- Target branch: `main`
- Latest local commit: `1a40aa941e65f88e253064e0b73bcaa8df7b5ea1`
- Verified source files: 1,492
- Automated tests: 435 passed, 0 failed
- TypeScript and application build: Passed

**Identified issue:**

The Google AI Studio container runs in a headless environment without configured GitHub credentials or an interactive authentication mechanism.

Attempts to push the project to GitHub fail with the following error:

`fatal: could not read Username for 'https://github.com': No such device or address`

As a temporary measure, I have created a verified Git Bundle backup:

- File: `marketpilot-v17-gate18-source.bundle`
- Size: 3.7 MB
- SHA-256: `681c8ff3e447acea33f486ab392ed6771b48efddd477c2947b9df0b96f715ec4`

However, the latest source code has not yet been synchronized with the existing GitHub repository.

**I would appreciate your assistance with the following:**

1. How can I restore or reauthorize the official GitHub integration in Google AI Studio?
2. Is there a supported method to synchronize my latest project changes with the existing private GitHub repository?
3. Can the project be exported or downloaded directly from AI Studio without losing its current files, changes, or Git history?
4. If direct synchronization is unavailable, what is the recommended procedure for transferring the verified Git Bundle to GitHub?
5. Is there a known issue affecting GitHub export from headless AI Studio environments?

I primarily access Google AI Studio from an Android mobile device, so a solution that does not require a local desktop terminal would be particularly helpful.

**Important:** I need to preserve my existing project, repository, source code, and commit history. I do not want to create a replacement project or overwrite existing GitHub commits.

Please provide the recommended steps or escalate this issue to the appropriate Google AI Studio engineering team.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards,
MarketPilot AI™ Development Team
Saudi Arabia

Hello @Devloper ,

Please try the below steps:

- Uninstall the Google AI Studio app from your installed GitHub Apps on GitHub as described in [Reviewing and modifying installed GitHub Apps](https://docs.github.com/en/apps/using-github-apps/reviewing-and-modifying-installed-github-apps#blocking-access) (uninstalling the app only removes the app installation and does not delete or modify your existing project or repository history).
- Open your project in [Google AI Studio](https://aistudio.google.com/) and select “Sign in to GitHub to continue” to complete a fresh installation and authorization flow.
- If the push still fails, please let us know whether pushing a small change (one or two files) works.
