Starting on 9/11/2026 i noticed that when going to the Google AI Studio using my mobile device I am unable to start new projects.
Now also same thing is happening on desktop browser as well!
After entering in a prompt and hitting run I immediately get a message on the top that says either
“Failed to create interaction. Please try again later.”
Or
“Failed to create interaction. Permission denied. Please try again later.”
I’ve noticed that if I go to a previous project I had created earlier, I have no issues continuing it. The issue only seems to be when creating new projects
I tried:
using multiple different Google accounts
Cellular network and Wi-Fi networks
Verified no VPN or secure DNS enabled
Incognito mode
