Google AI Pro subscriber: What happened to Gemini Pro?

Hello,

I contacted Google One support and was advised to post here.

I’m a paid Google AI Pro subscriber. The main reason I subscribed to this plan was to have access to the Gemini Pro model (I think it was 3.1? or 2.5?) in Google AI Studio.

Over the past few days, the model has disappeared from the list of available models. I can currently see only Gemini 3.5 Flash and Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite.

Is this a temporary issue, or is the Gemini Pro model no longer included with the Google AI Pro plan? If there is a way to restore access, I would appreciate any guidance.

If the Gemini Pro model is no longer available, please let me know, as I would then consider downgrading my Google One subscription.

Welcome to the community! Can you check the Advanced Settings menu? You can click the gear icon in the top right corner after clicking New App in the left side menu. What do you see?

Oh, thanks, I found it! The model was there all along. The site isn’t very user-friendly, sorry. To access it again, I had to go to Playground, click on the model dropdown on the top-right, and select Gemini 3.1 Pro from the list. Solved!
