Google AI Pro Quota Sync Bug – 168-Hour Lockout (3/18/2026)

Environment:

  • Plan: Google AI Pro (Active)

  • IDE Version: Downgraded to 1.18.4 (after bug occurred on 1.20.5)

  • OS: macOS 26

  • Affected Models: Gemini 3.1 Pro / Claude 3.5 Sonnet

Issue Description: Despite being a paid Pro subscriber, I am currently facing a hard “Baseline model quota reached” lockout. The IDE is displaying a refresh date of 3/18/2026, 5:29:02 PM, which aligns with a 7-day free-tier reset rather than the advertised 5-hour Pro refresh cycle.

Troubleshooting Taken:

  1. Rolled back IDE to stable version 1.18.4.

  2. Revoked Antigravity Oauth access via Google Account settings and re-authenticated.

  3. Cleared local cache directories (~/.gemini/antigravity/ and Local Storage).

  4. Verified age and subscription status are current.

The lockout persists across two separate Pro accounts on the same machine, suggesting a server-side “Marathon” baseline cap has been erroneously triggered or indexed to my environment.

Hi @Senan_Thewnaka,

Welcome to the Forum,

To provide you with greater control and a seamless path to scale, we are evolving our Google AI plans by introducing built-in AI credits that can now be utilized directly within Antigravity. Under this updated structure, our Google AI Pro tier is tailored for practical builders, offering generous limits for Gemini Flash alongside a baseline quota to experience our most advanced premium models. For developers operating at the highest scale who require consistent, high-volume access to our most complex models, Google AI Ultra serves as the ideal comprehensive solution.

Furthermore, we’ve designed these plans with maximum flexibility in mind; if you are on the Pro plan and require additional capacity or deeper premium access for intensive development sprints, you can seamlessly top up your AI credits to customize your limits and continue shipping your best work without interruption.
