Google AI Flow Video generation fails with “Oops, something went wrong” when using Avatar with Omni Flash model

Facing the same issue, have lost around a 100 credits

Having the same issue after 1st July completely ignore background reference image while trying to changing the background. and Having no sign to fix it .. Lost around 400 credits just by checking over and over with different prompt . But as if model is not seeing the reference image any more.

Normal text prompts are working, but whenever I try to update my tool, it always shows “Something went wrong.” The prompt runs correctly, but when it reaches the execution stage, it fails with an error. I’m also unable to generate images using the Builder tool. I’ve been facing these issues repeatedly since July 6.

I’ve been experiencing the same symptoms since the beginning of July. I paid on June 9th, and Google support asked me to contact FlowDiscord because they and the flow team are not communicating. I asked a representative named Jon on Discord, but I haven’t heard back in a week. It doesn’t make sense to sit on the sidelines like this on Google, even though it’s a paid subscription.

confirm that I am experiencing the same issue.

I subscribed to Google AI Ultra only a few days ago, specifically to use Flow for professional video production. Unfortunately, during the last 3–4 days I have encountered far more failed generations than successful ones—probably around 30–40 errors.

The failures occur across different generation modes. Even when the AI assistant suggests switching to Omni or Fast because of server issues, the generations still fail. The suggested workaround does not resolve the problem.

To make matters worse, when I tried to report the issue through the built-in Send Feedback option in Flow, the support system itself repeatedly failed with the message:

“We could not send your feedback.”

This means I couldn’t even submit a bug report through the product.

These issues have delayed multiple client projects and significantly impacted my workflow. I hope the engineering team is aware of the problem and can provide an update on the current status and an estimated timeline for a fix.
