Google account restored, AI Studio works, but Gemini Chat shows "Something went wrong"

My Google account [x…@gmail.com] was previously suspended and later restored after a successful appeal.

Google AI Studio works normally on this account, and I can access other Google services without issues.

However, Gemini Chat always shows:

“Something went wrong. Try again later.”

I have tested:

  • Different browsers

  • Incognito mode

  • Cache and cookie clearing

  • Same device and network with another Google account

Other Google accounts can use Gemini normally on the same device and network.

Could someone review whether Gemini access for my account is still restricted after account restoration?

Since you are experiencing this issue within the Gemini application, can you file a report directly through the Help section of the Gemini App. Navigate to Settings & help (Gear icon in the bottom left) > Send Feedback, and follow the prompts to submit your request with the relevant details. Note that this forum is specifically for Google AI Studio and Gemini API inquiries.
