GitHub Sync to Branch/ Re-establish Repo Connection

Hi,

I’ve been using AI Studio for a while and I’m enjoying being able to bring my idea to life. However, the scale of this is a bit too big for me so I’ve decided to request help from a good friend. However, we’ve been running into issues because AI Studio’s two-way sync doesn’t allow users to connect to branches of their own repositories. Furthermore, in an effort to try and work around this, I’ve ended up severing the connection between my project and my repo. I’ve got a lot of context and a lot of history within the chat, and losing it would be devastating. So, two features I’d like to request:

1: Reconnect to existing repo within a project.

2: Allow AI Studio to sync to repo branches for safe commits.

I’ve run into a similar problem with me. What I did was I took the URL of the branch that I wanted put it into AI studio didn’t rebuild it but here’s the problem. I wind up with several several different repos of the same project. Now I have to go through and clean up my GitHub where I have about six projects but when you look I have about 36.
