The problem isn’t solved yet..
The problem is causing massive impact over large number of AI dependent coders,
showign same for me , no gemini pro high
Same for Italy, only Claude and GPT, Google AI models (others than 3.8 flash) have been removed from dropdown in Google Antigravity 2.5.5
@NIKO
To force Antigravity to sync with Google’s updated database and bring the new Gemini models into your selector, use these two methods:
Method 1: Reset the Onboarding Cache (Fastest)
If your Antigravity client is stuck looking for the old models, clearing the internal sync state will force it to fetch the new lineup (like Gemini 3.8 Flash).
- Open your Antigravity IDE or desktop app.
- Press
Ctrl + Shift + P(Windows/Linux) orCmd + Shift + P(macOS) to open the Command Palette. - Type exactly:
Antigravity: Reset Onboardingand press Enter. - Complete the quick sign-in flow in your browser.
- Open a + New Chat and see if the updated Gemini models populate the dropdown
Gemini 3.1 Pro is no longer available on Google AI Pro and Ultra plans because Google appears to have restricted access to the model and moved it to the Enterprise plan. It seems Google has stopped providing access to Gemini 3.1 Pro through regular paid plans.

@Ambati_Rajendra Gemini 3.8 flash is too slow and takes much more tokens than 3.7 flash even on low reasoning. We need 3.7 flash back. Ask google to Do something instead of just asking people to decrease reasoning level. #Bring3.7FlashBack
We need an alternative to a pro level model back in antigravity without paying $100/m for it. I can’t be the only one that thinks this, but I will cancel the pro plan. Pro now only offers extremely limited access to Claude as it’s only coding benefit… 3.8 flash is free, and is not nearly as good at coding. But if it’s free, I’ll just go back to the free plan and be okay with it’s limitations.
O.P. note:
Sorry! You became the most popular poster on this topic, so I used your platform! But yes, 3.1 pro is gone forever, and me thinks Google can afford to not remedy this and lose us all as subscribers.
The problem Isn’t fixed yet, is Google even listening to this problem? it’s been almost a day and people are getting frustrated.
Same issue here. Adding some technical details that might help the team investigate:
- Plan & OS: Google AI Pro (Germany), Linux x64, Antigravity IDE 2.5.5 / CLI 1.3.4.
- Quota: Settings > Models & Usage shows 90% (weekly) and 99% (5h) remaining. “Reset Onboarding” did not restore the models.
- Symptom: Gemini Pro models are completely absent from the UI picker. When queried directly via API, the backend returns:
429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED: "Resource has been exhausted (e.g. check quota)"despite the healthy quota above. - Interestingly, in
fetchAvailableModels,gemini-3.1-pro-lowandgemini-pro-agentstill returnquotaInfo.remainingFraction ≈ 0.988. - Workaround note for others:
Gemini 3.8 Flash (High)still works via CLI (agy), so the issue seems isolated to the Pro-class routing/entitlements.
Same Isue here.
I only can access to:
Gemini 3.8 Flash (current)
Claude Sonnet 4.6 (Thinking)
Claude Opus 4.6 (Thinking)
GPT-OSS 120B (Medium)
No Gemini Pro, no Claude 5.5
It appears after updating Antigravity IDE
The Gemini 3.8 Flash is no good for what I need. It is very very slow… We need other option instead of just delete a PRO option.
I have the same issue for 2 days now, this is not acceptable for a paid plan not to have access to the main models.
I am having the exact same issue. I was in the middle of a code and suddenly the Pro model was gone. This is not cool. You can’t suddenly change your product when I have already paid for a year. I am hoping this is a bug but if it isn’t I most definitely demand a pro-rated refund!
I have tried Flash. It makes too many mistakes to be useful in most everything I do in the IDE. Every now and then it works but mostly does not.
Same here… Just deleted the 3.1 PRO and not put other in the place. PLEASE fix it ASAP.
It is not fare to just delete the 3.1 PRO and not put nothing to replace. The 3.8 Flash is not good for me..
I’m having the same problem here; I can only select Gemini Flash 3.8, Sonnet, Opus, or GPT-OSS. It makes no sense that you can still use Gemini 3.1 Pro for free in the Gemini mobile app, yet it isn’t available in Antigravity—even though you’re paying—unless you pay for an Ultra plan to access Gemini 4, which has higher token consumption.
