Hello Google Support Team, I am experiencing an issue while trying to sign in to Gemini Code Assist for individuals from my IDE. Whenever I attempt to connect with my Google account (be****@gmailcom), I receive the following error: “There was an unexpected issue setting up your account. Your account is not eligible for Gemini Code Assist for individuals at this time.” This account is an active personal account, and I have previously been able to use Gemini developer tools and Google AI Studio without issues. Could you please try these steps:
- Confirm your sign-ins. Go to myaccount.google.com → Security → Recent security activity, click “Yes, it was me” on recent sign-ins, and finish the Security Checkup (phone number, recovery email). and make sure you are using Antigravity Latest Version.
- Check your country. Make sure it shows Uzbekistan at policies.google.com/terms.
- Turn off any VPN or proxy. Sign in from your normal connection.
- Wait, then retry. Give it 30 minutes to a few hours, then restart your IDE and sign in again.
If it still doesn’t work, reply with your IDE name and version and roughly when you last tried, and we’ll escalate
