Hello,
I created a new Google Cloud account about a week ago and activated the Free Trial ($300 credits, 90 days). The billing account is active and the trial credits are visible in the Billing Overview.
However, in Google AI Studio the Gemini API still shows the message:
“Setup pending. Your Google Cloud billing account is being processed. Processing time varies from a few moments to a few weeks.”
This status has remained the same for about a week and I still cannot use Gemini API or generate an API key.
What I already checked:

Billing account status is Active

Free trial credits ($300) are visible

I cannot link the project to the billing account because it shows that the billing account is still being processed

There are no failed payments or outstanding balances
Could someone help check why the billing setup is still pending and why Gemini API is not activating for my account?
