Hello Google AI / Gemini API Support,

I am requesting a review of my Gemini API project.

Project ID: ai-video-maker-50910..

In Google AI Studio, my project shows:

  • Billing Tier: Unavailable
  • Status: Restricted

When I try to use the Gemini API, I receive:

403 PERMISSION_DENIED
“Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”

I have already verified my Google account and enabled the required security settings, including 2-Step Verification.

This is a personal development project. I am building a local AI Video Maker for learning and experimentation, using Gemini API for text generation and potentially image generation.

I am not trying to bypass any restrictions or abuse the API. I would simply like to know why my project is restricted and whether it can be reviewed for access to the available Free Tier.

It seems like your projects are flagged by automated account security checks. To unblock this error, you should consider upgrading to a paid plan. You could add prepayment credits directly in Google AI Studio and/ or by attaching an active billing account in the Google Cloud Console.
