I suppose my main issue is that I cannot find a way to properly submit this as an issue to Google, this is the only forum I am able to access. All others deny me access to submit any sort of ticket/issue/feedback.

Does anyone know how to get someone to look at this?

The Gemini Developer API rejects requests from our production server with:

HTTP 400 FAILED\_PRECONDITION
“User location is not supported for the API use.”

The server is hosted in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Reproduction:
POST [https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com/v1beta/models/gemini-3.1-flash-lite:generateContent](https://generativelanguage.googleapis.com/v1beta/models/gemini-3.1-flash-lite:generateContent)
with a valid API key and a minimal valid request body:
{“contents”:[{“parts”:[{“text”:“Reply with OK”}]}]}

Response:
{
“error”: {
“code”: 400,
“message”: “User location is not supported for the API use.”,
“status”: “FAILED\_PRECONDITION”
}
}

Server egress IP: [redacted]
Reverse DNS: [redacted]
Network: AS63949 Akamai Connected Cloud
Geolocation: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
IPv6: unavailable; requests use IPv4 only

Forgive my paranoia, Sai.. I am not sure I feel entirely comfortable giving this information out via a Google Form. Your profile suggest you are a “regular user” of this forum and not a Google employee.

I see that you have many posts and replies on this forum, but I’d really prefer to provide this information only over official channels.
