# Gemini API Free Tier Unavailable – Request for Help Without Billing

Hello Google AI Team,

I am developing an Android radio and news application in Israel. I want to use the Gemini API to translate Hebrew news into Arabic.

**My project details:**

- Project ID: my-project-606x

- Project Number: 5733019638..

- Billing Tier: Free tier unavailable

- Billing Account: Not linked

- API keys: Successfully created

- Error encountered: 403 PERMISSION\_DENIED

Google Cloud confirms that my project is not linked to any billing account.

I only want to use the free Gemini API tier. I do not want to add a credit card, activate paid billing, or incur any charges.

Could you please clarify:

1. Why is the Free Tier unavailable for my project?

2. Is free Gemini API access available to users in Israel?

3. Is there a restriction on my account or project that can be reviewed?

4. How can I enable free access without adding payment information?

I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue.
