Hello, currently, my requests are showing error 429, even though I haven’t used or reached the maximum daily usage of the templates. Would it be possible to solve this problem?
As you can see, the key is linked and im well below the 250 limit. And in the past one day, i have only sent 20 requests. The above usage is for past 7 days. I cant find the option to DM you. My project number is 750749625220. The error is [[You are out of free generations.

Exactly the same issue here linked and active Tier 1 but getting this out of free generations message, 2 days past on my Gemini API project with this. I had to create a new project and link it to billing to get it working for a while. But after the days use I got the same message. There has been zero reset of any kind on either project. Fully locked out for use now averaging 25/250 RPD and just hitting 2 RPM. Its really going around the forums on this exact issue with no resolutions so far from what I’ve seen.

They are not helping. I hope they are working on the issue. Bcz, today, i just made 12 request before hitting the limit. Thats lower than free tier.
I had a long, long chat will billing support though the google cloud console. They said they have their special investigators looking into it and will reply via email soon. That being said, they did 100% confirm that the usage limits are wrong and that message should not be happening.
Given how long this has been going on for though, it is starting to feel like willful negligence on their part regarding even semi reliable service for a product.
I can also confirm I am stuck to ~12 requests as well @Don_Sujeevan.
And sometimes if switching from the Google AI Studio non API linked quota to the API key, it does just strait up block you. As in acting like it does not even recognize the key has been linked. I’ve replicated it three times so far.
Use up the free tier on google AI Studio, then link your API key. Its doesn’t always happen, but sometimes it does just lock me out till the next daily reset. Even if the API key has NOT been used that cycle at all.

As you can see, the metric is for free tier, which is clearly wrong.
Simply put, there’s is a big confusion between free tier and paid tier, which is infuriating. I like to get what I pay for…
