Is it possible to use the Gemini API and ensure that the data does not leave a certain region (especially EU)? If yes, how?
I could not find anything about that in the documentation. It only says you can pick a specific region but not whether the data can also be forwarded to other regions.
Thanks!

Hi @grossi,

Welcome to the Forum!

If data residency is a concern, you’ll need to use the Gemini models via Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform instead of the direct Gemini API.
