Hello Google Gemini API Team,
I am requesting a manual review of Gemini API access for my Google Cloud / Google AI Studio project.
Google AI Studio currently shows:
-
Project name: factory-maintenance-ai
-
Billing Tier: Unavailable
-
Status: Restricted
When my application calls the Gemini API, the request fails with:
HTTP 403 PERMISSION_DENIED
“Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”
I have already completed the following:
-
Created a new Google Cloud project
-
Enabled the Gemini API / Generative Language API
-
Imported the project into Google AI Studio
-
Created a new Gemini API key
-
Replaced the old Gemini API key with the new key in my local application
-
Confirmed that my backend can reach the Gemini API
-
Confirmed that my application and Hindsight memory system are working correctly
The intended use is a low-volume student hackathon project for development and demonstration purposes. The application is a Smart Factory Maintenance Agent that uses Hindsight memory to help maintenance technicians investigate recurring machine faults.
I would like to use the Gemini API Free Tier and do not want to enable paid billing solely to bypass an access restriction.
Could you please manually review the Gemini API access restriction on this project and let me know what requirement is causing the restriction, or restore access if the restriction was applied in error?
I have not included any API keys, passwords, or private credentials.
Thank you.
