Gemini AI Pro subscription but Antigravity returns HTTP 429

Hi everyone. I recently subscribed to Google AI Pro, which should provide extended usage limits for Antigravity. However, I’m unable to use the agent.

Even with a simple prompt like “hi”, the agent runs for a few seconds and then returns:

HTTP 429 Too Many Requests
RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED: Resource has been exhausted (e.g. check quota).

I’m currently using Gemini 3.6 Flash (High).

Has anyone experienced this issue after subscribing to Google AI Pro? Is there something I need to do to make Antigravity recognize my Pro subscription, or is this a quota/account synchronization issue?

Any suggestions on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

HTTP 429 after subscribing to Google AI Pro

I recently subscribed to Google AI Pro because it includes extended Antigravity usage. However, Antigravity is still returning:

HTTP 429 Too Many Requests
RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED: Resource has been exhausted (e.g. check quota).

This happens even with a simple prompt like “hi”. I’m using Gemini 3.6 Flash (High).

Does anyone know how to fix this or make Antigravity recognize the AI Pro subscription? Could this be a quota synchronization issue?

Hi @Lenita,

HTTP 429 Too Many Requests (RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED) error right after upgrading is that the Antigravity app is still remembering your old free-tier account limits instead of checking for your new upgrade.

Could you please follow these steps:

  • Check your subscription status

  • Reset your login in Antigravity

    • Open the Antigravity Desktop Application.
    • Open the command menu by pressing Ctrl + Shift + P (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + Shift + P (macOS).
    • Type in “Antigravity: Reset Onboarding” and select it to refresh your session.
    • Alternatively: You can close the app completely and manually delete your saved login cache file from your computer:
      • Windows: %APPDATA%\Antigravity\auth_cache.json
      • macOS/Linux: ~/.config/antigravity/auth_cache.json
    • Re-open Antigravity and sign back in with your Google account.
  • Confirm your new limits

    • Go to Settings > Models inside Antigravity to make sure your upgraded Pro model quota tiers are now active.

Once you sign back in, Let us know is the issue resolves or the issue still persists.
