Do you have a way to merge threads?
Hi Abhijit, thanks for taking the time to address our questions. I’m using Gemini 3 (low) less and less because the quota is extremely limited — a single prompt can consume around 20% of it, and OPUS runs out after just a few prompts, leaving me waiting five days.
(As a user who is seriously considering going back to Windsurf)
You really need to offer a free model — something we can rely on without constantly worrying about running out of credits in the middle of a sprint. I thought Gemini 3 Flash would fill that role, but it behaves the same as Gemini 3 Pro. What I’m doing now is adding OPENCODE + OPENROUTE in Antigravity so I can use other LLMs, and also using Windsurf with SWE 1.5, which is free for simple tasks.
You’re going to see a massive exodus if things continue this way. You started by giving OPUS for free, people assumed it would last, and then everything hit a wall. If this keeps up, I’ll switch back to Windsurf — having to juggle two IDEs just because Antigravity leaves me without credits is really disappointing.
Thanks again.
same here!
on G AI Pro account I cant do anything for 3 days? this is nuts
Claude Sonnet 4.5 - 0% - 3d 19h 9m
Gemini 3 Flash - 100% - 5h 0m
me too! only I use Gemeni Pro…
Can someone from google share an update regarding this mess? I sincerely hope some fix will be applied ASAP.
[Urgent] Pro Subscriber Locked Until Jan 26th Due to Quota Bug Post-Outage
I’m experiencing the exact same issue. I’m a Google AI Pro subscriber, and my Claude Opus 4.5 quota is locked until 2026/01/26. This happened immediately after the service recovered from yesterday’s outage, even though I haven’t used any quota yet.
As a paid user, my quota should refresh every 5 hours. This multi-day lockout is a clear backend synchronization error. I’ve already submitted in-app feedback, but I’m posting here for visibility as my work is completely blocked.
Does anyone from Google have an update on a manual reset for Pro users?
Update:
I left Antigravity unused for 24 hours. Then I used Gemini 3 Low with 3 prompts and it dropped me to 60%.
I still believe the following:
Given the performance of Opus 4.5, Google took advantage by offering the model with a generous quota for users with a free one‑month trial (which is my case), along with Gemini 3 Pro. Now the quota is pathetic.
MY RECOMMENDATION:
Windsurf offers SWE 1.5 for free, and it’s far better than Gemini 3 Flash. I strongly recommend switching to Windsurf or Cursor and stop dealing with this IDE and its misleading quotas.
I have the same issue with do anything wrong. No openbot no agent nothing but the quota from 5 hours turned to 5 days with no reason.
I’m paying monthly but I have over 7 days to wait to use the product ?
I also reached that limit in two days, so you want people to pay a monthly fee when you can use it only 8 days in a month ?
Exactly, I’ve encountered the same situation.
It seems like the first time it lets you reset in 5 hours, but if you run out a second time, it turns into 5 days. I don’t understand why paid Pro users are treated this way. What’s the difference between this and being a free user?
