Gemini 3.5 flash code execution with images doesn’t output any text. response.text is empty, it only has executableCode, codeExecutionResult, inlineData

Can someone from google look into this? @Mustan_lokhand

@Mustan_lokhand Actually, i think it might be related to the new flash 3.5 model. For Gemini 3.5 flash, sometimes the model will not output text ( empty text output, only executableCode/inlinedata/executionresult) . This is random but consistent behavior.

This doesn’t happen with Gemini 3 flash preview on the same instruction and settings.
