After I saw Gemini 3.1 yesterday in Antigravity I was amazed. I started immediately working with it because super low Claude quotas were already fully depleted. First I’ve noticed that the 5-hour quota is being eaten almost 2 times as fast as with Gemini 3. But I kept going on and after I’ve fully used my 5-hour quota for the third time, suddenly I see that my quota for Gemini 3.1 is locked for 90 hours! Similar as with Claude models. I used Gemini 3 before and I’ve never seen this model to hit weekly quotas, but Gemini 3.1 did it almost as fast as Claude Opus 4.6 does.

yes, i’ve got same issue here, it got locked for 1 day (24 hour) after hit my 5-hour quota after using gemini 3.1, is the google have this on their new policy ?

The same thing happened to me, but in my case I didn’t reach the 3×5-hour quota — I think I was only on my 2nd or 3rd 5-hour period. It seems more like a global issue with the quota reset timing.
Before that, I was able to use the model, but even after refreshing to check usage, the bars always showed as if nothing had been consumed — they weren’t going down at all….

They’ve messed up with those quotas a lot. I mean Google Pro users shouldn’t be put on weekly limits for using Gemini models - maybe it’s reasonable for Claude models, but not own Gemini models.
