When using the partner Daily + pipecat for gemini 2.5 flash live - it doesnt allow asynchronous non blocking function calls - which is a capability that gemini 2.5 flash live supports. How can we get this capability or is this a cuurent limitation? Any ways to work around this limitation?

At the moment, the Daily + Pipecat integration for Gemini 2.5 Flash Live does not support asynchronous function calls. As a workaround, you can either use synchronous blocking function calls as a fallback or design your function to initiate background processing and return immediately, allowing the conversation to proceed without waiting for the task to finish.
