Frustrated users considering canceling AI subscriptions

This has been going on for over a month now, and it’s honestly frustrating.

  • Claude (Sonnet & Opus) constantly fail with “retry”
  • Gemini is inconsistent and unreliable
  • Chat history doesn’t load or randomly disappears
  • Overall experience feels buggy and unfinished

I’m using two paid accounts (Pro), and I’m clearly not the only one. People across both Pro and Ultra tiers are pissed about this.

What’s worse is there’s still no proper fix. We don’t need half-baked patches or random “try this” suggestions. We need something that actually works.

I also don’t want bots replying with “I have forwarded this to the internal team.” That’s the same thing we’ve been hearing for the past few months, and nothing has changed.

People are already angry on X, and many are close to canceling their subscriptions. Don’t push users to that point. Right now, people are riled up and even talking about potential legal action if this keeps going.

Right now, it feels like we’re paying for a broken product.

Yes, everyone paying for Pro or Ultra and expecting to be able to use Antigravity quite literally are paying for a broken product. After shopping around and demoing competitors like Cursor, Cline, and Claude Code, I’m following in the footsteps of others here and dropping my Ultra subscription entirely (not even bothering with downgrading to a lesser tier) once renewal comes up as I have signed up for Claude Max. I held out hope for a week (FAR too long for a trillion dollar company…) thinking that “maybe Google was cooking up something” but they have completely abandoned their AG social media, their blog, and this forum. Ultra was very nice because it was an all-in-one Google package that had juuust about everything I could have wanted. I only upgraded from Pro to Ultra so I would stop getting hit with multi-day lock outs from using Claude in AG, all the other benefits were bonuses. Then they reduced quotas, meaning two prompts of claude gives me a 5 hour lockout, and a month later the service is COMPLETELY unusable at any time of the day.

Antigravity felt like a “scrappy” small project from an ambitious team at Google when it first came out, but the bugs have gotten worse, not better, and it’s extremely apparent this was costing them too much in hosting and API costs and they did not intend for this product to scale at all.

I am completely unable to use any of the models, they keep repeating this error, and my quota has been completely used up because of all the retries.

Antigravity is still a early product. Why don’t you try Cursor or Windsurf.

most of those people are expecting something that wasn’t promised, frustrated that the mostly free ride they were on is over, and other things.

As far as your comment of “I also don’t want bots replying with “I have forwarded this to the internal team.”” goes, granted it’s frustrating, but it’s also the best method of getting your ticket to the right spot rather than opening a ticket to a general queue that might not get looked at for weeks

I have unsubscribed from Antigravity ultra package and switched to using Cursor Pro and Claude Code Max package. Continuing the ultra package is the stupidest mistake and wasting money

Canceled my pro subscribtion today

It’s getting worse and worse. I can’t even send 4‑5 messages in the gemini 3.1 Pro (slow) without my limit being reset after five days. I need to work—damn, I can’t use anything and Gemini Flash is useless. I haven’t cancelled yet because I’d have to move my files from Google Drive and lose my Google Cloud credits, but I’m increasingly tempted.
