Running into this even on Pro and Ultra plans so we’ve officially evolved from quota limits to premium-grade disappointment.
The core issue isn’t even the quota anymore, it’s the “Retry Olympics.” Every prompt turns into a best-of-8 series where I keep smashing retry just to get one task through. At this point, I’m not using an IDE… I’m load-testing your infrastructure for free.
And naturally, all those retries? Yeah, they quietly eat into the quota like background processes nobody asked for. Between real usage and this retry ping-pong, the quota evaporates way faster than expected. It hits 20 or 0… and suddenly I’m locked out for 6 days like I rage-quit a game I didn’t even want to play.
From a systems perspective, this feels less like a quota policy and more like a penalty for instability, users are effectively paying (in quota) for failed attempts. That’s… not a great trade-off.
Honestly, I signed up for a productivity tool, not a turn-based survival simulator with cooldown timers. If I wanted that experience, I’d go play a mobile game.
