So I’m blind and love using Flash 3.1 TTS in AI Studio for fun little scenes and stories, but it’s literally not been able to run any prompt I give it and displays an “error at level 504” or something like that. Every. Single. Time. I ask it to run a prompt! This has been happening since around May 29. Also, in addition, the “An internal error has occured” bug has happened every time I’ve tried running a prompt in the general text chats with most models also, whether I’m on my PC, or phone. I’m not sure if it’s because I use a screen reader or what, but I’m getting really, really tired. I use Chrome on my PC and Safari on my iPhone.
Please tell me the steps to reproduce a problem, that way; I can help you get this problem resolved.
Have you tried clearing the cache from your browser, or signed out and signed back in,–more-- used a private browser tab? If they don’t work; you might need to switch over to the another browser. I’ve experienced this before.
Have you tried other browsers like Firefox on your PC? Try it out to see if the problem will be resolved.
Hey.
Well, I’ve tried on Safari on my iPhone for instance and it still would say something like:
Http response at 400 or 500 level, error: , http status code: 403
I also tried it in Edge on my PC. It still doesn’t work. I tried clearing my cache in Chrome and that fixed nothing.
What project you are currently working on?
I am a blind computer user myself, and I use a Linux computer to run Google AI Studio.
Are you using Gemini 3.5 Flash?
Please provide detailed steps to reproduce a problem.
Hi.
In every Gemini model it does the same thing where it says "“An internal error has occured” every time I try and send a prompt over, a simple message like “Hi” or “Hell’o”, even in a fresh chat. And with TTS, I put in the speech context like, “A young Irish woman with a thick accent from Limerick”, and then I put in the dialog, and it gives me that weird error like this:
Http response at 400 or 500 level, error: , http status code: 403
And I just don’t know what that means or how to fix it. I put screenshots for sighted people in case they can identify what’s going on. This has been happening to me since perhaps a week and a half ago, regardless of browser or device. I’ve cleared cache and everything, logged out and back in, with no luck, and I’m not the only one experiencing this issue.
So, you are still getting a repetitive error.
Have you tried using AI Studio via a private browser, or switched to Firefox? Or have you cleared some cookies?
If you are using a free tier, ensure you are using it. If you are using a paid tier… check if you have a Google Cloud account. If you don’t use Google Cloud, and prefer to stay with a free tier; ensure you haven’t used up your free quotas.
I worked around this problem by ONLY using Firefox when using AI Studio.
Hmm, maybe I have to try Firefox. I’ve uninstalled it from my PC a while ago but maybe I hae to reinstall it. I’m on the Pro tear. I’m not really sure what a private browser is, but I’ll install Firefox and try there. I use NVDA.
I just came back. And I see you are using Windows.
What are the results, after you got Firefox installed? Please let me know.
Making apps/games? Please let me know!
I have reached out via DM to get some more details to investigate this futher
