# Feature Request: Add Search Functionality in Stitch (stitch.withgoogle.com)

Hi everyone,

However, one important feature that would significantly improve usability is **search functionality**.

### 🚀 Problem

As projects grow with multiple screens and iterations, it becomes difficult to:

- Locate specific screens or flows

- Navigate across different versions

- Revisit previously generated UI ideas

### 💡 Suggested Solution

Introduce a **search feature** that allows users to:

- Search by prompt text or screen name

- Find UI components (e.g., login, dashboard, navbar)

- Filter across versions/iterations

- Optionally support semantic (AI-based) search

### 🎯 Impact

Adding search would:

- Improve productivity and navigation

- Make Stitch more scalable for larger projects

- Enhance overall developer/designer workflow

### 🙌 Closing

Stitch is already a great tool, and adding search would make it even more practical for real-world usage.
