Hi, I can’t create an API key in Google AI Studio with my personal @gmail.com account.
- AI Studio > API keys > Create API key: “Failed to create project: permission denied. Please try again.” The project dropdown shows “No Cloud Projects Available”.
- In the Google Cloud console (Agent Platform), the API key section says my organization’s security policy does not allow API keys, but this is a personal account with no organization.
- Google Cloud automatically created “My First Project”, but importing it into AI Studio did not help.
- Tried incognito mode, a different browser, and waiting.
This looks like the same issue as these threads: 177669 and 142253 (account wrongly classified as enterprise). Could you please reset the cloud identity/entitlements for my account? Happy to share details via DM. Thanks!
