After extensive testing, I can confirm that quota is still consumed whenever an error occurs, whether it’s a 429 or a 503. On top of that, Antigravity automatically retries after errors, which can keep consuming your quota.
I seem to have run into the same issue. My Gemini API key quota was exhausted for this reason, and I did not achieve the expected number of successful requests.
