Based on my research this is the conclusion:
With Antigravity 2.0, Google merged/shared quotas across Gemini models (including Flash). Previously, Flash had its own lighter, faster-refreshing pool — that’s why you had no issues with heavy use. Now a shared pool + weekly baseline cap means even Flash usage can trigger the 6-7 day lockout once the underlying cap is hit.
This was actually predicted by some people that google will eventually do this. The reason? so that pro users will get squeezed out and be forced to upgrade to the $100 plan.
At this point, the PRO plan is piratically useless for real developing. Its main usage is google quirks and the 5TB storage.
I am not being negative about antigravity, but it is obvious that this is NOT a plan for serious developers.
$20 a month with cursor seem way more realistic.
I mean come on guys, 6 day lock out period? that’s a joke. This clearly shows that the plan has changed completely.
