Hi we’re from Obello - a startup company. We’re experiencing 503 error a few times even though we’re on Tier 3 (the highest tier) with Gemini 3 Flash and Nano Banana Pro (which is Gemini 3 Pro Image Preview)

Everything is still under limit. Thanks! Our region is likely us-central (I created the project and then the API keys are associated with this so I cannot see the region)

Hey Linh! 503’s are not related to your Tier, it means that there is temporarily too high of demand for this model and thus we have to shed some traffic (even for tier 3 customers). These errors tend to be super transient and are resolved within a few minutes or less so automatic retries tend to really help.

Thanks for your prompt response. However I find out that the model capacity has been unstable since 3.22pm UCT time until now. At 3.22pm UCT the message error was 503, and it resumed back but it’s super slow or sometimes didn’t return anything. It’s been 2.5 hours from that so I don’t think it’s mere minutes.
This is directly impacting our Production’s pipeline and our customers are asking. So if you can, please bring this feedback to the team. Greatly appreciate it!

I apologize for the delay in responding, but it’s because I changed AI, so I don’t need it anymore, but I could always come back to Gemini sooner or later, so it’s better if I give feedback that is as accurate as possible to contribute to the overall improvement of the experience, not only mine but everyone’s.

Region: Europe, Italy, Sicily
Platform: I use a tool that is an editor that generates news with the intelligence of Gemini but i kept the track of the remaining time on Google AI Studio because that’s where i created my Api key so yes, i assume it’s Ai Studio

Like I said before, I use an editor that uses Gemini to generate news with artificial intelligence. I didn’t do anything except go to the news title and click the generate news button. At the moment, the same editor is using Open Ai but it isn’t as efficient and consistent with context-based responses as Gemini. I have to say this, it made me suffer but it was well done.
