ERROR 404 when i try to generate a preview QR CODE

When i try to generate a qr code to preview design on my smartphone, i have directly an 404 error page on stitch, i dont understand.
i have tried to change browser, PC internet connection. nothing work.

Hey @Dimitri_M, sorry about that! This looks like a temporary glitch as everything is working fine on our end. Could you please try generating it once more and let me know if it is still not working?

this happens to me too. did it work for you later or do you know how to fix this issue? TIA

nope, never fixed issue…very frustrating

Hey @ams @Dimitri_M, I hope you aren’t facing this issue anymore, but if it happens again, here is a quick workaround.

Why this happens: If you are logged into multiple Google accounts in one browser, Stitch assigns a hidden profile number to your session. When generating the preview QR code, the system accidentally omits this profile number. When your phone scans the raw link, Google’s servers can’t identify the project owner and throw a 404 error.

How to fix it:

  1. Open a fresh Incognito / Private Window on your computer, log into Stitch using only the single Google account you are building with, and scan the new QR code. This removes the multi-account conflict.

  2. Ensure your smartphone’s mobile browser (Safari or Chrome) has Third-Party Cookies enabled so it doesn’t block Stitch’s cross-domain authentication canvas.
