[Error #3501] Account incorrectly flagged as Enterprise / License Required

Hi Antigravity Team,

I am receiving Error #3501 (SUBSCRIPTION_REQUIRED / error_number: 1001) on my personal account.

Although this is a standard individual account with no active Google Cloud Console enterprise projects or Workspace licenses, requests are being routed to cloudaicompanion.googleapis.com and asking for a Gemini Code Assist license.

Here are the debug details for the affected account:

  • Error Code: #3501 (Status: PERMISSION_DENIED / HTTP 403)
  • Error ID: 2b094312-68e8-48c8-9b06-be5f1385e89b-648-1001
  • Trajectory ID: 2b094312-68e8-48c8-9b06-be*****
  • Trace ID: 0xe2f1ca2*****
  • Reason: SUBSCRIPTION_REQUIRED (error_number: 1001)
  • Domain: cloudaicompanion.googleapis.com

Could an engineer please reset the backend routing flag/tag for this account ID so it bypasses the Enterprise license check?

Thank you!

Same here, and several friends are having the exact same issue. Our standard personal accounts are stuck in a loop getting error #3501 (demanding an enterprise license we don’t have).

Fresh/newly created accounts work fine, so it’s definitely tied to older accounts. Also, standard verification doesn’t work because it doesn’t even give us the prompt or option to verify, it just throws the license error right away.

Hope this gets fixed soon, pretty frustrating.

same here , i even switch to other one and got same error lol

Seems like Google really wants us to stop using Antigravity.

I myself I’m migrating to something else.

Same issue here since September 26. Multiple older personal @gmail.com
accounts all returning #3501. Newer accounts still work fine.

Please fix the backend entitlement flag — this is clearly a widespread issue.

Hi @Vanesa_Juliana, Welcome to the Forum!

Could you please upgrade to the latest version of Antigravity 2.0 (v2.18.1) / Antigravity CLI (v1.2.11) and let us know if you are still experiencing the issue?

Hello,

I am a personal subscriber to the Google AI Pro plan using my personal @gmail.com account.

I am trying to use the Gemini Code Assist extension in Visual Studio Code, but I am completely blocked by the following error:

“You do not have a valid license of this product. Please contact your administrator to request a license. If you are not an enterprise user and believe you are receiving this message as an error, please try using the latest version and logging in again. (#3501)”

I have already tried completely clearing my local cache, workspace storage, and reinstalling the extension, but the error persists. It seems my personal paid account is being incorrectly flagged or routed as an enterprise account missing a license.

Could an engineer please check my account status and manually clear this license restriction on the backend?

Thank you.
