Don't waste time on the "Revoke Access" workaround – and a warning about switching to Claude

Hi everyone,

I’ve seen screenshots circulating that suggest fixing the 96-120+ hour lockout bug by going to your Google Account settings, revoking Antigravity’s third-party access, and logging back in. I want to warn the community: do not expect a miracle from this.

Many of us have tried logging out, clearing the .antigravity cache, and completely re-authorizing the Google account, but the multi-day lockout persists.[2][1] This is a deep backend synchronization and “weekly quota” issue on Google’s end, not a local authentication glitch.

Also, for those getting frustrated and thinking about jumping ship to Anthropic/Claude – you might want to reconsider. It is essentially the same situation over there. Users on Claude’s Pro, Max x5, and even the $200/month Max x20 tiers are reporting that their weekly limits are getting completely depleted in just 1 or 2 days of normal coding work. They are facing the exact same massive, multi-day lockouts after minimal usage.

Until these providers figure out how to handle the massive compute costs of agentic workflows, the “All-You-Can-Eat” subscriptions are practically broken.

Right now, the only viable workarounds to meet deadlines are either sticking to the Gemini 3 Flash model (which seems to keep the 5-hour refresh) or moving the workload to Google AI Studio using your own API key to bypass the IDE’s broken quota system.

Hope this saves someone a few hours of troubleshooting!
