I have an app idea that heavily would use image generation. Just curious if this would qualify.

Competition’s about Gemini. If it’s not the main part of your app, then it probably won’t count. That doesn’t mean you can’t use other APIs but Gemini needs to be the main star of the show (i.e. your app).
